Definitions
- ‘ESTABLISHMENT’, means, M/s Prasanna Technologies Pvt Ltd, Krishna Complex, Kodialbail, M.G.Road, Mangalore - 575003 and its Office, Branches, Sections, Units, workplaces and any other branches, Sections Offices that may in future be established at any other places.
- ‘EMPLOYER’ / MANAGEMENT, means the Managing Director (MD) of the Establishment and includes any other Directors / Managers / Officers to whom the powers and functions are delegated in this behalf by the MD and wherever the expression ‘Management’ is used. It shall mean the Employer.
- ‘MANAGER’ means the Manager of the Establishment and includes any other officer who is authorized by the MD to act on his behalf for managing the Establishment or its , branches.
- ‘EMPLOYEE’ means category of person employed for salary by the Management and it includes both Managerial and non - managerial categories of employees.
- ‘NOTICE BOARD’ means and includes the Boards at or near the establishment premises or within the administrative buildings, workplaces provided by the management for exhibiting under these Service Rules.
- ‘EMAIL’ means the correspondences / notices and any communication sent through official email-id of the company
- ‘SALARY RATE’ means the rate of pay for 8 hours of Work (per day, 6 days a week) or pay per calendar month or on piece Rate basis. Excluding lunch / meal time and other breaks.
- ‘NOTICE’ means a Notice in writing or type written required to be served or posted on the Notice Board of the Establishment for purpose of these Service Rules or sent through email to the respective employee.
- ‘MEDICAL CERTIFICATE’ means a certificate issued by any Registered Medical practitioner of not less than M.B.B.S cadre.
- Words imparting the masculine gender shall include Feminine gender.
- Words imparting the singular number shall include the plural number and vice-versa.
