Overtime / compensatory holidays

Overtime:

          Subject to the provisions of the Law applicable to the Establishment, the Management reserves the right to require any employee to work overtime and to require to work on a weekly holiday or any declared holidays in accordance with instructions which may be issued from time to time. The responsibilities of your position may necessitate rescheduling or change in the working hours for which you are required to adhere without demur. The hours of work will be subject to work requirement.

  • If an employee has worked upto midnight then he / she may report to office on the next day upto 2 hours later than the normally reporting time.
  • If an employee has worked beyond midnight then he / she may report to office on the next day upto 4 hours late.

The same shall be approved by the project coordinator / Project manager /project lead / delivery manager.

Compensatory holiday:

          The employees who carry out work on weekly holidays or general holidays on the instructions of the management are entitled compensatory off holiday. Compensatory holiday shall be claimed within the same month. However   on   special   occasions  if  it  is  not  possible  to  avail   the  compensatory  holiday  on  the  same  month  the  same  may be   availed  within the ​next 30 days​ on special approval from the concerned managers. 

          Working on holidays shall only be against prior approval from the respective project coordinator / Project manager. /project lead / delivery manager. Approval for the same shall be through email. copy of the approval has to be mailed to the HR department. The same shall also be updated in the compensatory off register maintained at office. 

          Employees’ are not entitled to compensatory holiday if they work on a weekly holiday or general holiday just to complete their pending works which they should have otherwise finished on a regular working day.
