Punishment / action for misconduct
An employee guilty of misconduct may be:
- Warned or censured.
- Fined
- Subjected to stoppage of increments with or without cumulative effect.
- Reduced to the lower scale in the time scale of pay.
- Demoted to junior category or to lower grade.
- Suspension without pay for a period not exceeding four days at a time.
- Dismissed without notice or any compensation in lieu of notice.
