Trainee:
Trainee is a learner who may or may not be paid stipend during the period of his training and who is not an apprentice under the Apprentices Act. The terms and Conditions for the trainee shall be made known to him by a written Order. The period of training shall be decided by the Management. On successful completion of training period, the trainee shall be appointed as a Probationer or temporary employee if vacancy is available in the establishment. The Trainee shall have no right to claim regular employment with the Management. The Trainee during the period of his training, if paid stipend on monthly basis and the same shall not be considered as wage/ salary under any labour legislations. A Trainee is not entitled for other benefits enjoyed by the regular employees of the establishment.
