Leave during probation:
An employee during probation can avail upto 50% of the maximum PLs that may be accumulated in a year from his / her date of joining till the end of the financial year.

If an employees joins on or before the 15th of the month then his experience is considered starting from the current month.

If an employees joins after the 15th of the month then his experience is considered starting from the next month.

During probation an employees is not entitled for leave during the first month of service. Any leave taken during this period will be considered as a loss of pay. (Calculation for loss of pay defined under section “loss of pay calculation”)
Ex: If an employee has joined on the 20th of october the number of privileged leaves that he may be entitled to (assuming he works till march) would be 5 months x 1.5 days per month = 7.5 days. Out of this he can avail 50% in advance i.e. 4 days
